What is The Standard Soccer Collective?

SSC is a boutique soccer environment based at Lombardo Fields in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. It offers three connected pathways: Community, Performance and Select. Every new player begins in Community.

Who is SSC for?

Current programming is for U9–U14 boys and girls. SSC supports players who love the game, want more development or are working toward a higher competitive level.

Are sessions coed?

SSC welcomes both boys and girls. The exact group format may vary by pathway, age and enrollment. The staff will confirm the current training group when the player profile is reviewed.

Will SSC offer programming at every age group?

SSC forms groups when enrollment, developmental fit, coaching capacity and facilities support a strong environment. Not every pathway or age group will be offered at all times. Current availability covers U9–U14 boys and girls, and the staff will confirm the best next step after reviewing the player profile.

Which programs are currently available?

Community is open for eligible players. Performance is accepting evaluation requests and requires coach approval after the player is seen in Community. The first Select team begins in Fall 2026. SSC is also recruiting through Performance for the 2027–28 Select group, with tryouts planned for March 2027.

Where are sessions held?

Sessions are held at Lombardo Fields at Lancaster Country Day School in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

What is the normal Community schedule?

Community includes two sessions each month. Sessions are usually held on Mondays, with Friday used as the alternate when Monday field access is unavailable. Confirmed dates and times are published monthly.

What does the Performance schedule include?

Performance membership guarantees three Performance sessions each month and includes both monthly Community sessions. Confirmed dates are published monthly.

Can a player keep their current club?

Yes in Community and Performance. Both are supplemental pathways. Select is the only pathway that replaces the player's current club.

How does a player enter Performance?

A family may request an evaluation when completing the player profile or later as a Community member. The player attends Community, the staff evaluates the fit and approved players receive the Performance enrollment details.

How does a player reach Select?

Select players are identified through the Performance pathway. The first team is formed for Fall 2026. Recruitment for the 2027–28 group is active through Performance, with tryouts planned for March 2027. Final tryout eligibility and registration details will be published closer to the date.

How do I register for Community?

The flow is Profile, Date, then Registration and payment. First complete the player profile. Next choose the first Community session the player plans to attend. Finally complete membership registration and secure payment.

What does Community cost?

Community is $60 per month with no registration fee. Membership includes both monthly Community sessions, and families may attend one or both.

What does Performance cost?

Performance is $180 per month. It includes three Performance sessions each month, the complete Community membership, video analysis, group speed and agility work, and college recruiting education.

What does Select cost?

Select is $3,500 per year, with monthly payment plans available. The fee covers the core Select program, scheduled team training and standard season programming. Additional costs may apply for overnight stays, additional tournaments and events reached through national qualification.

What should a player bring to the first session?

Bring appropriate footwear, water and training clothing suitable for the conditions. Most importantly, arrive ready to work, listen and contribute to the group.

What is the coaching philosophy?

SSC protects the player's love of the game, develops the person and holds every player to a shared standard. Coaching is player-first, demanding and focused on long-term development rather than short-term results. Learn more on the About page.
