Our Story

Founded by Gino DiSomma.

SSC was founded by Gino DiSomma, a Lancaster County coach with more than a decade of experience developing players from recreational youth through competitive academy programs.

Gino moved to the United States from Italy at six years old without speaking English. His first friendships were formed on the soccer pitch, where the game did not require a shared language.

That experience shapes the club today: the game is for every player, whether they are playing for enjoyment or working toward a college career.

What We Stand For

Three pillars guide every decision.

They shape how we coach, who we work with and how we hold the environment for every player.

01

Protect the Love

Development should never come at the cost of enjoyment. We keep the love of playing at the center of how we train.

02

Build the Person

The player comes before the athlete. Character, confidence and resilience matter alongside technical development.

03

Chase the Standard

The standard for effort, attitude and accountability is shared by every player, regardless of pathway.

The Collective

One collective. Three pathways.

Most players join one of two supplemental pathways alongside their current team: Community, the required entry point, and Performance, a higher-commitment program that includes Community.

Families may self-select for a Performance evaluation, with placement confirmed by the coaching staff after the player has been seen in Community. Select is the club's full-time competitive team and the only pathway that replaces a player's current club.
